my first post

I'm not an early adopter, at the same time I'm not someone who misses the bus. I've been reading a few blogs lately, and i thought if i could waste valuable employer time reading someone else's woes, might as well use that time to write some BS. So here I am, more than a month after I wrote those intial lines, still thinking about what to write.

What did I do today ? hmm...woke up and finally unpacked this neat little oil canvas from peru. Its a picture of the Quechua people hiking the Andes. Gave it to a friend of mine for framing. The painting cost me $20 in Peru, but the cost of framing it is more than double that !!

I spent the rest of the day catching up on some valuable sleep. I have been busy with my application to the Wharton school. That was a far more hectic process that I ever imagined. For the past 3 weeks, on an average, I slept about 3 hours per day.

In the evening I dropped in at Kaushik's place for dinner. It was his birthday and his wife was throwing a surprise party for him.

Its 1.33 am now...I'm not sleepy and I have to work on my chicago essays.
